Of course, it's easier now that Bush isn't in office and can't get traction from it for ABC to report it, but Iraq has got considerable momentum rolling on successful democracy. So much for the people who said it would never work because Iraqis didn't want democracy.
The situation still isn't completely settled, but the changes since the surge are dramatic. And to think Harry Reid was going around in early 2007 claiming the war was lost, there was no hope, the surge was a waste. He would have denied those Iraqis the opportunity to buy $600 cell phones
